Our Coaches

OFSC is very blessed to have three incredibly talented, dedicated coaches. Our coaches work on a volunteer basis for our club. This saves our skating families thousands of dollars each year to ensure that skating with OFSC can be affordable to everyone!

Kerry began skating at 10 years old and even skated with Disney on Ice in Europe, North America, South America, Canada and Japan between 1988 and 1994. Kerry is now the Recreation Superintendent for Owensboro Parks and Recreation.

Jessica began skating at 5 years old in group lessons and skated through Freestyle 5. She is a former competitive skater with the Owensboro Figure Skating Club and is now a Gold Level Certified Judge with the Ice Sport Industry.  Jessica is also an ISI National Certified Figure Skating Instructor for the Core/Intermediate Level and the Intermediate/High Level and is SafeSport trained and certified. Jessica teaches beginners through Freestyle.

Maggie began skating in group lessons when she was 12 years old and joined OFSC as a competitive skater shortly after. Before she stopped competing, she was working on the Freestyle 7 level. Maggie has been teaching skating lessons at the Edge Ice Center since 2015. She says she loves teaching any level, beginner through freestyle.
